About Me
Hi, I’m Bambi Linn Wilson owner and seamstress of Bambi Linn Sews What. I started this journey after seeing the amazing clothing my family members would make and when I was in Lakeland High School. I was amazed at the clothing I was able to make for myself. I worked summers in the Jermyn Dress Factory at 16 years old until right before I married Stuart who I have known all my life. After we were married my parents bought my sister and I sewing machines so I went crazy and made curtains and home accessories at first, then later clothing and Halloween costumes for our children. After 44 years of marriage we have our son, Christian his wife Lisa their son Andy; our daughter Ashley and Dominick have their daughters Ada and Zoey. In 2011 after many years of sewing for everyone, I joined a group of amazing ladies called Women’s Prosperity Network, this was the first time I really got serious and realized I should use my talent of sewing and start my own business. I’ve grown so much just from referrals I outgrew my home based business and opened a new shop in the Highlands, Archbald. My love of sewing has grown so much over the years that I have been constantly learning by taking classes. In 2022 I earned my teaching certification with “Kids can Sew”. March 2021 I earned my Professional Diploma in Fashion Design prior to that I completed the certificate program in Fashion Industry Essentials from Parsons New School.
In 2019 I completed my Teaching Certification through Burda Style, prior to that in November 2014 I received my Diploma from Stratford Career Institute for Fashion Merchandising and Design and my first Diploma in 2010 is for Sewing and Dressmaking through Stratford Career Institute.
